Lofoten is the ultimate sail-and-trek destination. Some of the oldest mountains on the globe offer extraordinary geology and dramatic peaks rising straight from the sea. Start in Svolvær, climb Skrovafjellet for a view of the famous 'Lofoten Wall,' sail through Trollfjord, summit Djevelporten, and finish with the legendary Reinebringen. A week of pure adventure.
Day 1: Arrive in Svolvær and board your yacht. Get oriented with a short hike up Fløya, the small mountain overlooking the town, for panoramic views of the Lofoten archipelago. Evening briefing on the week ahead.
Day 2: Sail to Skrova, a small island with a big personality. Hike up Skrovafjellet (253m) for what many consider the finest viewpoint in all of Lofoten — the entire 'Lofoten Wall' stretched out before you across the water.
Day 3: Enter the legendary Trollfjord, a 2km-long fjord barely 100m wide at its entrance, with 1,000m cliffs on both sides. Continue to Digermulen and hike up to Djevelporten ('The Devil's Gate'), a natural rock formation high above the fjord.
Day 4-5: Sail to Henningsvær and Kabelvåg, exploring the heart of Lofoten. Hike Festvagtinden for dramatic views, visit the Lofotr Viking Museum, and enjoy the vibrant art scene of Henningsvær.
Day 6-7: The grand finale — sail south to Reine and tackle the iconic Reinebringen (448m). The view from the top, looking down over Reine's red fishing huts surrounded by turquoise water and jagged peaks, is one of Norway's most famous vistas. End the week in Å, the last village in Lofoten.
