Project Description

Freediving with Orcas and Humpbacks

-an unforgettable experience

See these magnificent animals in their natural environment during one of
the greatest nature events in the ocean

All while living comfortably on an exclusive yacht

Each winter between six and seven million tonnes of Norwegian Spawing Herring enter the shallower fjords and bays of Norther Norway as part of their migration path. Following there massive schools of herring, orcas and humpback hales arrive in great numbers and spend the winter feeding on the fish here.
We start out early every morning as we set out to find the orca and humpback whales which allows the uppertnity to dive with them. During these hours you could potentially encounter several pods of them feeding on the herring in the fjords that line the cost.
Adhering to strict ethical and safety standards, once a suitable pod has been located, you will be given the opportunity to enter the water in small groups. A highly trained and qualified Freediving Instructor will be with you at all time and guide with knowledge and experience the marine life and conditions you encounter.
