Sailing in northern Norway is like a fairytale. This is one of the last remaining un-touched areas in the world. Rent one of our beautiful yachts and experience the authentic northern Norway by sail boat. Take in scenic view of steep mountains, long fjords, secret hideaways, small but modern towns and picturesque fishermen villages.
Due to the warm Gulf Stream you can sail in the Arctic all year round. Each season has its own specialities.

COMFORTABLE LIVING
With a 360 degrees view of the surrounding from the 12 square meter saloon you will find yourself with the perfect location for taking in the scenery from the comfort of indoors. Outside you find a larger seating area outside together with the well known catamaran net in front where you can spend lazy hours direct over the sea. That catamaran has 4 cabins with double berths and joint bathroom. A very special boat; luxurious, but still with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
EXCITING LAND EXCURSIONS
A new destination is waiting every day and we make landfalls whenever possible. The Arctic coast is filled with exciting activities and interesting places. Weather you would like to go trekking in the mountains, village or museum exploring, taking a visit to the Northern most whiskey distillery or go mushing with a pack of dogs we can arrange the most.
DELICIOUS DISHES
After spending the day with wind in your hair and roses in the cheeks there is nothing like coming to port in the evening, settling down and having a warm and tasty meal together discussing the days events and planning for tomorrow. The Catamaran has a fully equipped kitchen which can serve up the most delicious dishes. We strive to offer a variety of the the local cuisine, new interesting tastes, and real good comfort food. Hot beverages and snacks are served as we go.

SKIPPER & CREW
All our skippers are commercially certified and crew undergo extensive training in order to give you a comfortable, safe and enjoyable ride.
GUIDE
Some locations calls for special knowledge others you can explore on your own. We either bring one guide for the whole tour or have local guides on dedicated locations, depending on itinerary and group.
NO SAILING EXPERIENCE ?
This is a trip for anyone who are interested in the wonders of nature, and does not require any pre-sailing experience. However you might learn a thing or two about sailing during your stay.
SEA SICKNESS ?
We very seldom experience sea sickness on board. Trips will be planned according to weather and conditions so that everybody have a pleasurable time. We also have sea sickness medication for the unfortunate one. It usually tears of quickly.
SUGGESTED ONE WEEK TOUR
DAY 01 * Tromsø – Nordlendangen
This day depend on what time the group arrives at Tromsø.
Briefing/discussion on sailing-route and yacht familiarizing.
This is our first night onboard, so it will be an easy and silent afternoon with late dinner.
Sailing distance: Tromsø-Nordlenangen, approximately 35 nm.
DAY 02 * Nordlenangen – Lyngseidet
Sail in the Lyngenfjord – close to the famous Lyngen Alps. The trip goes to Lyngseidet (main village in Lyngen Municipality). We will stop for lunch in Strupen or at Årøyholmen.
Sailing distance: Nordlenangen-Lyngseidet, approximately 24 nm.
DAY 03 * Lyngseidet-Furuflaten-Samuelsberg
Sailing to Furuflaten (lunch at FabLab Lyngen – a part of MIT-Massachusetts Institute of Technology) – and end up in Samuelsberg.
Sailing distance: Lyngseidet-Furuflaten-Samuelsberg, approximately 20-25 nm.
DAY 04 * Samuelsberg-Soerkjosen
A relaxing sailing day in fjords, channels and between beautiful mountains.
We will sail to Sørkjosen (or Hamneidet), have a lunch stop at Havnnes (Uloya island), an old trade center with an long old history and tradition who still are in use. A place often visited by the Norwegian Royal family.
Sailing distance: Samuelsberg-Soerkjosen, approximately 50 nm.
DAY 05 * Soerkjosen-Skjervoey
Visit to the Nordreisa Nationalpark and Mollisfossen where you will be transported by bus into Reisadalen/Bilto. From here, we will be travelling by riverboats through stunning scenery with many sights. Mollisfossen is one of Scandinavia highest waterfalls (269 m). Lunch will be served by the riverside. We return to the yacht at Sørkjosen/Hamneidet, and sail further towards Skjervøy, where we stay over for the night.
Sailing distance: Soerkjosen-Skjervoey, approximately 16 nm.
DAY 06 * Skjervoey
If the weather permits, we will sail out to Fugloeya – a huge birds island. Here on the edge of the open Norwegian Sea we will explore a very rich bird and animal life, e,g eagles, puffins, seals, whales and more. Our destination for the day will be Vannvag or Torsvag – both places is active fisherman village on Vannøya.
Sailing distance; approximately 52 nm.
DAY 07 * Skjervoey-Tromsø
Starting on our way back to Tromsø we can chose among various routes, all between a lot beautiful islands. We may sail outside Ringvassoeya and inside Nord Kvaloya, following Skagoeysundet inside Hersøya, Rebbenesøya – further up Kvalsundet east of Kvaløya and finally towards Tromsø for the last night on the boat and the end of the journey.
Sailing distance: approximately 50 nm.
DAY 08 * Tromsø

Sail Catamaran – a floating hotel
On the sail catamaran you will find a 12 square meter salon with a 360 degrees view of the surrounding. Here you can enjoy the scenery from inside, warm and comfortable. If you want to go outside to really feel the elements you can either choose from the large sheltered seating area in the back or spending time on the well known catamaran net in front. The yacht have a fully equipped kitchen where the most delicate dishes are made. The yacht has 4 cabins with double berths and bathroom with shower facilities. It also have one crew cabins in each hulls.
