A week of sailing and trekking in Lofoten pairs short passages between fishing villages with walks that start at the waterline. The boat carries the group to trailheads with no road, and the season runs from June to September under near-continuous daylight in midsummer.

One week sailing and trekking in Lofoten.

Lofoten pairs sailing with trekking on some of the oldest mountains on Earth, with peaks rising straight from the sea. The route starts in Svolvær, climbs Skrovafjellet for a view of the Lofoten Wall, sails through Trollfjord, summits Djevelporten, and finishes with Reinebringen. Seven days, six named summits.

Day 1: Arrive in Svolvær and board the yacht. A short hike up Floya, the small mountain overlooking the town, gives panoramic views of the Lofoten archipelago, followed by an evening briefing on the week ahead.

Day 2: Sail to Skrova, a small island with a big personality. The climb up Skrovafjellet (253m) leads to one of the finest viewpoints in Lofoten, with the entire Lofoten Wall stretched out across the water.

Day 3: Enter the Trollfjord, a two-kilometre fjord barely 100 metres wide at its entrance, with 1,000-metre cliffs on both sides. Continue to Digermulen and hike up to Djevelporten (the Devil's Gate), a natural rock formation high above the fjord.

Day 4–5: Sail to Henningsvaer and Kabelvag, exploring the heart of Lofoten. The route includes Festvagtinden, the Lofotr Viking Museum, and the galleries of Henningsvaer.

Day 6–7: Sail south to Reine and climb Reinebringen (448m). The view from the top looks down over Reine's red fishing huts, the water and the surrounding peaks. The week ends in A, the last village in Lofoten.

### 10 Days from Tromsø to Lofoten

Tromsø to Lofoten is roughly 200 nautical miles of coast, normally sailed in ten days. The route runs south through Kvaløya, Senja and Vesterålen before crossing to Lofoten, with sheltered inside passages available in most weather.

### One week sailing and trekking on Senja

Senja is Norway's second-largest island, with a west coast of steep granite ridges and few roads. A week aboard reaches the outer bays by sea and walks from the anchorage, which is the only practical way to link several of these ridges in one trip.
